While searching in Google books today, I came across the following book:
Records of the American Catholic Historical Society of Philadelphia, Volume 15 By American Catholic Historical Society
One section is titled: Notes and Queries. Historical Sketches of Some of the Pioneer Catholics of Philadelphia and Vicinity. It was written by Joseph Willcox.
In the prefatory note Joseph states, "The purpose is to collect, as far as practicable at this late date, and to put on record some of the work of those who have passed, as a general rule, unpretending and uneventful lives, and who are now remembered chiefly through the medium of church and family records and traditions.. The persons whose sketches have been prepared by the writer have been selected merely because he happens to know something about them and their descendants. With a few exceptions only, the writer has been personally acquainted with all of those mentioned in this paper have died within the last fifty years."
There is A LOT of info in this book that I am really excited about. It is a gold mine that I will extract information from and then post! The Thomas Willcox family appears on pp. 427-447.

A place to gather and share information about the Thomas Willcox and Elizabeth Cole Willcox Family of Ivy Mills, PA. For more information see the Home page link above or contact Deniane Kartchner at Denianek@gmail.com. My husband is a descendant of Thomas and Elizabeth's son James who married Prudence Doyle. Their son John's daughter Prudence married John Christopher Kartchner.
Note: This is a work in progress! I am trying to verify everything before I post, but feel free to send me corrections and/or suggestions. It’s also not a complete history of Ivy Mills or a website for current operations, although I will gladly try to answer any questions and/or lead you to the right information.
I'm currently working on tracing this family back to England through this link:
